Part of the vision of Proyecto America is to encourage groups or NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations) in each country to continue the work the event started. Each event causes a real imPAct in the city where it is carried out, which opens doors for others to take up the vision and continue to bring assistance to the needy in that place. It is from this process that imPAct was born.
imPAct is nothing more than what we call a post-event. It is the long-term work done after the event has taken place. For example, we continue to work with the children of Pisco, Peru; Hospital “The Mascot” in Nicaragua; a prison Guaxupé, Brazil; and the on-going work in Jequitinhonha, Brazil, where a missionary couple stayed after participating in an international event in that city. These are some of the works that were born from a Proyecto America event in those cities and continue to move forward today, as part of the vision of brothers and sisters who have been willing to carry on with the work.
